The West The Railroads Made is a traveling exhibit that explores how railroads revolutionized the American West. The exhibit displays 150 artifacts, paintings and images using custom mounts. The majority of the exhibit elements are finished maple hardwood, and they include stands, cases and a replica dining car. The centerpiece is a reproduction of an old water tower that displays a rotating panorama of the West, showing the transformation from frontier to industrialized society.
