National Museum of Wildlife Art: Children’s Discovery Gallery

The Children’s Discovery Gallery at the National Museum of Wildlife Art allows visitors to step inside nature and the artist’s process. The gallery provides a hands-on connection between art, wildlife, science and the natural world. Our team worked together to develop, design and fabricate immersive exhibits that encourage children and their families to participate in the experience together through low-tech, hands-on interactives. A tree house with an open studio atmosphere lets visitors explore five areas of focus: the study of still life, three-dimensional art forms, textures within nature, observations skills and composition. Visitors can also walk into a series of wildlife paintings to learn more about the art and animals featured in the museum. Our designers worked closely with the project team to develop exhibits that are engaging and compelling for all age groups.
