Project Overview
The Museum of Flight’s Personal Courage Wing showcases the museum’s collection of World War I and World War II aircraft in immersive settings that give visitors a personal insight into both wars. Pacific Studio collaborated with the museum and other project partners to turn schematic designs into completed exhibits. Our team worked with the museum to develop their rough floor plans sketches into the finished galleries, resulting in 50,000 square feet of exhibits and almost half an acre of platforms built to display the planes. Pacific Studio’s work also included a replica of a WWI-era trench, a French farmhouse, a Quonset hut, 55 display cases, and a series of interactive displays.
