Project Overview

Pacific Studio worked closely with the Fort Vancouver Regional Library, the Miller Hull Partnership, and AldrichPears Associates to design, prototype, fabricate and install the Library’s Knowledge Wall. This large exhibit and art piece serves as a welcome and orientation feature for the library.

Pacific Studio began this project with a simple mock-up featuring a series of metal bars running through supports. Once the prototype was approved, we created CAD drawings of the proposed structure. Our graphics team then researched suitable images to include on this display and, through a series of client reviews, selected final images. Pacific Studio then purchased the artwork and the associated use rights to apply them to the panels. Our installation team mobilized to the site, and completed the assembly and installation of the Wall, on budget and on schedule. We are particularly proud that we collaborated on a project that has been recognized by the Society of Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD) as a 2014 recipient of the Merit Award.
