Exhibit Fabrication + Installation

Canyon Visitor Center

Pacific Studio worked closely with the National Park Service to create new exhibits for one of the most visited interpretive centers in the country. Our work included a room-sized illuminated relief model that narrates the park’s volcanic eruptions, lava flows, glaciers, and earthquake faults. We also created dioramas that provide a cross-section of life in a lodgepole forest, which included hand-painted murals, sculpted birds, and faux trees, plants, and grasses. The project also features a 9,000-pound rotating kugel ball illustrating global volcanic hotspots.
