Project Overview

The Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site project included the installation of large exhibits that celebrate and honor the African-American pilots who fought in World War II. Our scope of work included fabricating new exhibits for Hangar Two, the Skyway Club, and the Control Tower. We provided large-scale graphics, historically appropriate furnishings, exhibit structures, hand-painted murals and floor graphics, interactives, bronze tactile models with integrated braille signage, artifacts, and props. Pacific Studio project managers coordinated with National Park Service staff, material culture experts, military experts, the general contractor and a variety of subcontractors to deliver a compelling project at a challenging location with limited accessibility.
